Fort Hunt, Fairfax County, Virginia
An old but familiar view of one of my all time favorite parks - Fort Hunt in Northern Virginia. What a great place it was to run in the Fall. I took this in the Fall of 2006.
Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Known as ‘the Smoke that Thunders,’ it was thundering for sure, and quite wet in places. I took this a 3.2 mp camera that was fairly cutting edge at that time. Would love to go back and photograph in higher resolution. Nature in all it’s glory.

Was sitting on a stool taking a rest when I noticed my girlfriend striking a pose and quickly grabbed the shot. I think it was the simple lines in the room along with the diffused light along with her pose that got my attention.

Great spot for sandboarding and imagining one is lost in desert—-and just plain getting away from it all. Seems a world away from water but just 100 meters behind me is the Atlantic Ocean. Taken with Canon G10.
